I just recently checked out Cat Steven's amazing web page. The former singer, now known as Yusuf Islam, has compiled an absolute joy of a website. It is almost like playing a video game. Clicking on everything and anything will bring you to a different time or place of his life. At the homepage there are four options you can choose from. "Sing", "think", "Give", and "Bazaar".
Going in order I first clicked on Sing. If you choose to visit this site be prepared for music. Music immediately is blasted through the speakers telling me that this is going to be a fun ride. There is a room full of different options to click on. Pretty much anything is clickable. I first went to the poster which has his entire biography. If you click on Mr. Ho Ho you can find many facts about the singer and the man. I was quite tempted to buy a few things after clicking on the clipboard which brings you to his online store. My favorite however was the pile of records which brings you to all of his music. You can choose from many different songs and just sit there for hours and listen.
After Sing comes Think. This is Yusuf's spiritual page. It talks about his spiritual journey and why he has changed his name and his being. For as much as I knew I thought he was still Cat Stevens. I had no clue he had gone through this spiritual journey that totally changed who he was. There are also articles, audios, and videos that tell and show you more about his faith.
The Give page tells all about his charity called "Small Kindness". Here you can learn about his charity and donate if you wish. I must say that I did not donate anything but I felt compelled to after reading more about it. His charity helps children who have been struck by disasters all over the world. He seems to be a very caring and giving man.

I was most excited to click on the Bazaar page just because I had no idea what to expect. Unfortunately a pop-up came up saying "Yusuf Islam Bazaar Coming Soon". Well believe me I will be coming back soon to see what it is all about. If you have not checked out his web page I strongly urge you to do so. It is a fun and educating experience. Yusuf has dedicated his life to his faith and his charity and I think we can all learn a lot from him.
